1. Which altered portrait was the hardest to create? Why? Explain.

The altered portrait that was the hardest would possibly be the cyanotype. The reason was because i had a pretty difficult time with it, i even had to ask for help

2. Which altered portrait was the easiest to create? Why? Explain. The easiest altered portrait would possibly have to be the backlit image. The reason for that is because you literally in front of the sun. After that you just have to edit it a little bit and boom, you're done.

3. What does "Altered Portrait" mean to a viewer vs a photographer? Explain.

WHAT altered portrait might mean to a viewer is possibly that the photo was changes some way or form. For a Photographer what they think is that the photo was manipulated somehow and photoshopped someway.

4. Out of the 7 altered portraits which one will you likely create again? Why? Explain.

The altered portraits that i would likely create again is the backlit image one, the reason for that is because it was my favorite, i like how there was light behind the subject, it was pretty cool

5. What is the historical significant behind one of the altered portrait techniques you learned? Explain.

6. Why is it important for you to learn how to alter portraits? Explain. Its very important for me learn because ill know how to do it in the future

7. Should all portraits be altered? Why or Why not? Explain.

8. By altering an portrait, what does it allow you to do to the portrait? Explain.

BLUR MOTION

Blur Motion After Questions:

1. What is blur motion? (In your own words, not what I gave you above) Explain.

Blur motion is when you move the little dial thingy, well what you're really doing is lowering the shutter speed, then you take a picture of a moving object. When the shutter speed is low the camera thinks everything is super fast

2. How did you create your blur images with the camera? Explain.

What i did to create my blur motion was i lowered the shutter speed then i made my subject constantly move so the camera can think my subject was moving at super speed. I made them do different stuff so i can get the images i have.

3. What did you do to the image in photoshop? Explain.

What i did o the images in photoshop was that i cropped most of the images, changes the saturation on some, i added light and i turned some in black in white, basic photoshop

4. What was difficult about shooting this image? Explain.

What was hard about shooting these images was that my subject either moved to slow or too fast. It was a struggle to get them on camera or even sometimes their faces, but after a while it started getting easier and more fun, we started doing crazy stuff so we could get different images, i loved it.

5. What was easy about shooting this image or editing it? Explain.

Well nothing was easy at first, our whole group struggled to get the images they wanted or to even understand blur motion, but at the end we all did good, It was starting to get easy when we actually knew what to do . We as a group started to have ideas on what poses to do. The only thing i think i kinda struggled with was changing the shutter speed because i had no freaking clue on how to change it

Forced Perspective

Independent project

I picked flowers for my independent project. I have n clue why i did flowers; well, i do love flowers, so maybe thats the reason why i choose flowers.

I got really close to the flower and just shot, also i shot the hair of my friend, its extremely pink so i thought it was cool. So you can i say i did close ups.

I changed some of the saturation the the photos. Also, i changed the lighting so the flower can pop out more; also i cropped some of them .

What i learned about this type of photography was nature, nature is amazing when you're out late and just shooting pictures of what you find is art.

What i found difficult was actually shooting these because there was a lot of wind and it kept bending the flower down. also all the dirt that got in my eyes.

in my opinion i think they came out pretty decent, I mean i could still improve; but overall i loved them, and i think i did good.

what i'm thinking of doing for my next independent project is shooting my family, because they're separating for a while so i want them to have pictures of each other so they can remember each other when they're not near.
